I have truly been enjoying my life of late,
It has been full, and rich, and really great!
Everything is going well, you see
And I spend time with friends and family!
We get together as much as we can
Looking for places where we can work on our tan!
We have done many things and gone many places
Cities, and towns, and wide open spaces.
We visited friends, we visited family
We stayed in some parks, we travel so happily
Solduc was great- we soaked in the pools
Kauai was lovely- the island’s a jewel
We went to SF, we went to LA
We went to West Thurlow, we went to Fay Bay!
We are full of thanks, we have been hosted so sweet,
Now, come visit me, that would be such a treat!
Come if you can, or reach out somehow
It is connections that matter, even more now!
I am grateful to know so many wonderful folk
My fire loves gatherings, that’s where I stoke
The world is so crazy, but my heart is clear
My peeps and my work are what I hold dear.
I am still loving my work, still working a lot,
I also love playing, and swimming when hot
I am studying new things, there is so much to learn
And teaching as well, so that I can earn.
The NW summers are such a delight
But the winters are cold, I do miss the light.
So change is a coming, not sure when or what
but I want more time to play and don’t mind being hot.
I looked for a camper and bought a cool car
It converts to a camper and will take me far
So far it’s been fun, I like driving trips!
You can pull over and stop- not like on a ship!
I might visit you! Let’s make a date!
Or let’s just tune in and follow our fate.
We can expect blessings, that is for sure,
And I am wishing you joy in this coming year
I hope you are managing as best as you can
I hope that you make time for many good plans
I hope that you feel the love all around
Despite the world’s ills, kindness abounds.
